Sophie attended the University of Chicago for undergraduate and graduate school, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois and Perinatal Mental Health Certified through Postpartum Support International. At Chicago Perinatal Therapy, Sophie specializes in pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and OCD. She also works with clients coping with infertility, birth trauma, and reproductive loss.
In addition to her clinical work, Sophie is a freelance writer. Her writing about thyroid cancer has been featured in Jadey. She lives in Chicago with her fiancé and miniature poodle.
